Scope and contact
This notice covers the TrackVela evaluation website, account area and companion extension. The current service is limited to invited testing. Questions and requests about information held by TrackVela can be sent to support@trackvela.com.
Account and security information
TrackVela stores your name, email address, password hash, account-verification records and workspace membership. It also keeps time-limited sign-in and verification records, paired-device information, permission changes and operational audit records. Your account password is stored as a salted hash, not readable text.
Connected order and tracking information
With your authorization, the extension reads supported eBay and Amazon pages rendered in your browser. Relevant records may include account labels and reviewed account identifiers, order and parcel references, product titles and image links, tracking numbers, shipment events, locations and timestamps. TrackVela uses these records to import and match orders, monitor shipments and verify requested updates.
Your eBay and Amazon passwords, session cookies and full page HTML are not uploaded by the reader. Those account sessions remain in your browser. Reading permissions and marketplace-write permissions are separate; pairing a reader alone does not authorize a tracking-number submission.
Service providers and carrier exchange
Hosting and transactional-email services process the information needed to operate the evaluation and deliver account messages. When a carrier operation is authorized and enabled, TrackVela sends the required parcel references and tracking information to the independent DoorETA carrier service and records its response. Carrier acceptance and marketplace confirmation are separate records.
Product images loaded from external image hosts can disclose ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, to those hosts. TrackVela does not sell evaluation account or order data, or use it for advertising.
Private and shared views
Account, order and source records are restricted to authorized workspace access. There is no public order directory or unrestricted shipment search. Any enabled shared tracking view is limited to the authorized shipment and redacted information; it must not expose full recipient addresses, source-account credentials or private operational records.
Storage and your choices
Account, order and operational records remain available during the evaluation unless removed through a reviewed support request. Expiry limits the use of sessions, verification codes and temporary permissions; it does not mean that every related audit record is immediately deleted. Security, incident and store-ownership records may need to remain for investigation and duplicate-account protection.
You can request access, correction or removal of your information at support@trackvela.com. We verify the requester's authority before changing account or shipment records. You can revoke paired devices and browser permissions to stop further collection from those devices.
Cookies and local storage
The website uses a session cookie for sign-in and cookies for language, theme and consent preferences. The extension stores its device pairing, settings and pending work locally so it can recover after a restart. Optional advertising or analytics services are not enabled as part of this evaluation. A cookie preference does not grant access to marketplace accounts.
